Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Slotit’s website, business portal, service-provider experience, customer booking pages and related services (together, the “Services”) offered by Ummku’s Ventures Private Ltd (“Ummku’s”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
Scope and acceptance
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Ummku’s. If you use Slotit on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that business.
Certain features may have additional terms shown when the feature is enabled. Those additional terms form part of this agreement. If they conflict with these Terms, the feature-specific terms apply to that feature.
Eligibility and authority
Business owners, administrators and other account users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. A business must be validly operating and authorised to offer the services it lists through Slotit.
A business is responsible for deciding which users may access its workspace and for ensuring that each user acts within the authority and permissions given to them.
Accounts, access and security
You must provide accurate account information and keep mobile numbers, email addresses, PINs, passwords and other credentials secure. Accounts are personal to the authorised user and must not be shared.
Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require verification, reset credentials, revoke sessions or temporarily restrict access to protect the business, customers, providers or the Services.
Business responsibilities
Each business is responsible for its service catalogue, skills and qualification mappings, provider assignments, working hours, prices, taxes, availability, customer communications, cancellation rules and lawful operation.
Slotit supplies software for scheduling and operations. We do not provide beauty, wellness, aesthetic, medical or other in-person services. The business alone is responsible for service quality, professional licences, safety, hygiene, treatment suitability and fulfilment.
Service-provider responsibilities
A service provider may use Slotit only through the business that created or authorised their account. Providers must keep attendance, appointment status, service timing, notes and other operational information accurate.
Providers may access customer information only as permitted by their business and only for assigned work or customers they have previously served. They must protect confidential information and follow the business’s policies and applicable law.
Customer bookings and fulfilment
Slotit may allow a customer to request or create an appointment through a business-branded booking link. The booking is made with the selected business, not with Ummku’s or Slotit.
The business is responsible for confirming availability, assigning a suitably skilled provider, delivering the booked service and communicating material changes. Slotit does not guarantee that a requested time, provider, price or service will remain available.
Changes, cancellations, no-shows and refunds
The relevant business sets and applies its own rescheduling, cancellation, no-show and refund policies, subject to applicable law. Businesses must make material conditions clear to customers before collecting a payment or deposit.
Slotit may provide tools to record a cancellation, conflict, reassignment, refund or adjustment, but the business remains responsible for the underlying decision and for resolving customer disputes.
Prices, taxes and payment processing
Prices shown through a customer booking page may be estimates and may differ at the business premises where clearly disclosed. The business is responsible for final prices, invoices, applicable taxes, statutory records and legally required disclosures.
Where payment features are enabled, payments may be processed by an independent payment gateway. The gateway’s terms also apply. Slotit does not store complete card, UPI or banking credentials and is not responsible for a bank or gateway declining, delaying or reversing a transaction.
Memberships, deposits and credits
Where enabled, a business may use Slotit to record booking deposits, cover charges, membership balances, prepaid value or service credits. The business must define the applicable validity, redemption, cancellation and refund conditions and communicate them to the customer.
Unless required by law or expressly promised by the business, a credit or membership balance is not cash, is not transferable and may be used only with the business that issued it.
Customer records, photographs and consent
Businesses control the customer records created in their Slotit workspace and are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect, use and retain them. Before-and-after photographs are optional private service records and must be captured only with any consent required by the business or applicable law.
Customer photographs or confidential records must not be published, used for unrelated marketing, or used to train a general-purpose artificial-intelligence model unless a separate lawful basis, clear notice and any required consent exist.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Services to break the law, mislead customers, impersonate another person, process information without authority, harass or discriminate, distribute malicious code, probe security, disrupt availability, evade access controls or facilitate fraud.
You must not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, resell or commercially exploit the Services except where we have expressly allowed it or applicable law prevents the restriction.
Third-party services and integrations
The Services may connect with payment gateways, messaging providers, maps, analytics, hosting, identity-verification or other third-party services. Their own terms, privacy notices, availability and fees may apply.
We are not responsible for a third party’s acts, omissions, outages or content. We may change, suspend or remove an integration when necessary for security, compliance, reliability or product reasons.
Intellectual property and feedback
Ummku’s and its licensors own the Services, software, interfaces, brand assets and related intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, we grant authorised users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Services for the business’s internal operations.
You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, display, transmit and back up that content to provide the Services. If you provide suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or payment.
Availability, support and changes
We aim to provide reliable Services but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, internet failures, device limitations, third-party outages, security incidents or events outside our reasonable control may affect access.
We may add, modify, discontinue or label features as beta or experimental. Where a material change adversely affects a paid business, we will provide reasonable notice when practicable.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee increased bookings, revenue, customer retention, successful service outcomes or that every conflict or scheduling issue will be detected.
Slotit does not provide legal, tax, accounting, medical, diagnostic or professional-treatment advice. Businesses and customers should obtain appropriate independent advice when needed.
Liability and indemnity
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits, goodwill or data.
To the extent permitted by law, Ummku’s aggregate liability relating to the Services will not exceed the fees paid by the relevant business for the Services during the six months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
A business will defend and indemnify Ummku’s against third-party claims arising from that business’s services, unlawful content, customer commitments, breach of these Terms or violation of applicable law, except to the extent caused by Ummku’s own breach or misconduct.
Suspension, termination, governing law and contact
We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful activity, non-payment, security risk or conduct that may harm customers, providers, another business or the Services. A business may stop using Slotit subject to outstanding fees, record-retention requirements and any applicable plan terms.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue, including payment obligations, intellectual-property protections, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute provisions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer law, courts of competent jurisdiction in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh will have jurisdiction. We may update these Terms and will revise the “Last updated” date. Questions may be sent to hi@getslotit.com.
